Hanna and King of Serpents, or as he was called by Hanna's little sister, "Sir Pants."
I tried to draw in a David Mack-ish style, but I came up short. Yet I'm happy with what I accomplished. I used this photo of Emilie de Ravin for reference. I found it on a google image search, in someone's collection of photos. No clue where the image originally came from.
It doesn't really look like Hanna, at least not in the eyes. But I like it anyway.
If Hanna's who I think it is the hair throws me off. But it's a good job on the coloring nonetheless.
I don't think Mack's possible on strictly computer or can it? . It looks very watercolorish. I don't know how I feel about 'computer painting.' It's like robots taking over workers in a factory.

I'm a fountain of blood. In the shape of a girl. You're the bird on the brim. Hypnotized by the Whirl. Drink me, make me feel real. Wet your beak in the stream. Game we're playing is life. Love is a two way dream
Her hair is a bit long, or at least the back part is, in this pic.
I think with a little more patience, I could have done better justice to the textures. I should have gotten some screen tones of lace. He uses that a lot in Kabuki since the Metamorphosis volume.
I don't think his style can easily be done on computer, but I think it's possible, with enough time, patience, and fancy enough programs.
And I love computer painting. Undo and layers! They make things so much easier

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
