Vidal at Work by RevisionOfLines Vidal at Work by RevisionOfLines
Vidal, the delicious villian of Pan's Labyrinth. This did NOT come out as I expected. I might shuffle this off to scraps. There are MANY things I'm unhappy with. Yet, it's late, so I feel some strange urge to purge it onto the gallery.

Vidal... so evil, it hurts.

This is from that lovely scene where he describes trust, and brother-like bonding, as provided by a hammer and various other horrible, frightening little tools.

I remember this guy. He scared the living hell out of me when I watched it.

Great movie, though.

I freaking love Captain Vidal. I loved his role, the actor, the portrayal, everything. He is without a doubt one of my alltime favorite characters of...ALL TIME! And yes, I only love villains! :]

This guy takes the archetypal Fairy Tale element of "Evil Step-parent" to a whole new level.

Why do you think that Mercedes didn't kill this guy while she had the chance?

"Nothing unusual, just some things you pick up on the job...." I felt so bad for that stuttering guy. =(

No kidding. Poor stutterer. I hoped he'd be able to count, but you know, I also knew there was no chance he'd make it.

Yeah, as good as it was, Pan's Labyrinth just wasn't that kind of movie.

Ah God I just saw that movie and loved it. Weird as hell, but awesome.
I want to draw that scene when she opened the book for the second time...

And what a lovely scene that was. :)

*SQUEE*

There is a god and his name is Vidal. Or at the very least, there is a demon...and again, he looks like a Silent Hill character

Fitting somehow because he's one of the only true monsters in Pan's Labyrinth.

Hush, you. So I have Silent Hill on the brain... so what.

I am actually rather convinced that Pan's Labyrinth is a Challenging game, since all things go back to the White Wolf rpgs. The faun is an unseelie... probably a pooka (he doesn't quite fit the satyr stereotype). Vidal is a soul-crushing Autumn Person. Ofelia is a seelie sidhe that everyone is just being mean to. ;-)
